Cadvance is another Aut*cad compatable cadsystem. It lists more features than I have room to write, and claim compatiblity thru R15. once again I did not spend as much time here as i would have liked, but you can try it your self. There is not not only a working demo, but a 2D lite version to play with also. Enjoy. |

Rhino is a nurbs based modeler that is very easy to learn and work with. It has a GUI that reminds me of blender only not as cryptic. In less time than it takes the software to load you can start creating geometry(next i'll have download the tutorial :-). It does have a few issues running under wine, but i'm sure these can be tweaked. Rhino3d has a trial version that can either be downloaded in one large zip fine or in 8 1.4K smaller files. |
