Ayam3D
is the successor to Mops. it is a 3D modelling environment for the RenderMan interface.
Ayam currently runs on Unix (Linux, IRIX tested) and Win32 (Win95-Win2000).
Ayam features at a glance: RIB (RenderMan Interface Bytestream) export and import. Support for NURBS curves and (trimmed) NURBS surfaces, Boxes, Quadrics (Sphere, Disk, Cylinder, Cone, Hyperboloid, Paraboloid, and Torus), CSG, MetaBalls, Patch Meshes, Polygonal Meshes, and Subdivision Surfaces. NURBS modelling includes normal and interpolating curves as well as extrude, revolve, sweep, and skin objects with caps, holes, and bevels. Custom objects that may freely implement their representations (using OpenGL and RIB) and even small GUIs to edit their type specific parameters may be written by the user and dynamically loaded at runtime. Scripting interface: Tcl. Misc: instancing, arbitrary number of modeling views, object clipboard, independent property clipboard, console, n-level undo.

Mops
is a 3D modeling environment written in C with Tcl/Tk.
Mops features at a glance:
RIB (RenderMan Interface Bytestream) export.
Supported object types are NURB curves and (trimmed) surfaces, Boxes, Quadrics (Sphere,
Disk, Cylinder, Cone, Hyperboloid, Paraboloid, Torus), CSG.
Additionally, support for custom objects that may freely implement their representations
(OpenGL and RIB-wise) and even small GUI's.
Scripting interface: Tcl.
Arbitrary number of modeling views, clipboard, independent property clipboard, console,
advanced hierarchy browser. a CSG modeller that exports *.rib file. It uses primatives and NURBS combined with various shaders and lighting effects.
